Don’t Have an Alcoholic Beverage … Gamble!

If you enjoy having a a beer from time to time, keep your cash at home if you are going to do your consuming in a casino. I am serious. Clean out your pocketbook, your money belt, and leave all money, credit cards and checks at home. Pack only the cash you intend to spend on refreshments, tips and whatever pocket change you intend to throw away and keep the rest behind.

Pessimistic? Not really. Realistic more like. You can experience a success after a drunken night out with your friends and be blessed enough to catch a 25 minute roll at a on fire craps table. Don’t forget that story seeing that it’s as short-lived as it gets if you always drink alcohol and bet. These activities simply do not mix.

Leaving your moolah back at the hotel might be a little bit excessive, but preventative actions for drastic behavior is necessary. If you bet to succeed, then don’t consume alcohol and play. If you can afford to throw aside your $$$$ nary a concern, then consume all the gratuitous alcohol you can handle, but do not pack charge cards and checkbooks to toss into the mix of going after losses after your dead drunk self throws away everything!

Permit me to carry this a single step further. Don’t drink and then hop online to gamble in your favorite casino either. I love to cocktail from the comfort of my condo, but seeing that I am linked up through Neteller, Firepay and have plastic credit in close proximity, I can’t consume alcohol and wager.

Why? Although I do not drink a lot, when I consume alcohol, it’s certainly adequate to cloud my judgment. I wager, so I do not drink alcohol when wagering. If you are a drinker, do not wager at the same time. Both create a ferocious, and costly, cocktail.
